The mission of the Senior Adult Ministry is to provide programs and activities to enrich the lives of maturing adults enabling them to enjoy full participation in the life and leadership of the church. Diverse opportunities that cover a wide range of interests for boomers, empty nesters, retirees, and older senior adults are available for the 60+ segment of the church community. · Prime Time is a fellowship lunch group that meets once a month on the second Tuesday in room 304 near the Fellowship Hall. Attendees gather to enjoy each other's company, participate in fun activities, and sing! Lunch is provided by the church (optional freewill offering). RSVP dates are published in the newsletter and worship bulletins. All members who are retired, or who just have time on their hands, are welcome.
· Care Team | Prayer Partners—a ministry in which church members and friends meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 12:30m to pray for those within and beyond our church. Participants also contact through phone calls, cards, and visits, those within our faith community who are place-bound, residing in assisted living facilities or nursing homes, are hospitalized or in bereavement through regular personal visits.
