Caring for one another is what Christ calls for each of us to do. At First Presbyterian, we reach out to each other in a variety of ways. Here's a sampling of how:
CareTeam Loving individuals who regularly visit friends and members in the congregation and share the gift of friendship. These individuals meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:00pm in the Church Library to share, encourage, and learn together.
You do not have to be active on the CareTeam to participate in this group. For more information or to order a book, contact Sharon Bowling.

Praying for Others Church Updates makes it easy for any member to request a prayer and then automatically distributes that request to the rest of the congregation.
Here's how it works: fill out an online form to request a prayer. Prayer requests are communicated to the congregation through the Church Updates weekly email digest and website. Church members can respond by clicking the "I will pray" button. A list of the people who clicked the "I will pray" button is displayed in Church Updates.
