Concerts on Carter Creek

In 1983, members of First Presbyterian Church established Concerts on Carter Creek as an outreach music ministry for the community, offering free concerts in our acoustically superb sanctuary. Traditionally, funding has come from the Gilbert and Thyra Plass Arts Foundation, the John G. Otts, Jr. estate, and contributors to this concert series. All performers are professional musicians, many from the surrounding areas, giving them a local base of support for their musical endeavors.
