Senior Adult Ministry

The mission of the Senior Adult Ministry is to provide programs and activities to enrich the lives of maturing adults enabling them to enjoy full participation in the life and leadership of the church. Diverse opportunities that cover a wide range of interests for boomers, empty nesters, retires and older senior adults are available for the 60+ segment of the church community. For information on any of the activities call Marie Mickey at the church office, 823.8073 or email at mmickey@fpcbryan.org.

·         Upper Crust—provides monthly opportunities for fellowship at a potluck luncheon. Programs vary each month ranging from games to special topic speakers to musical interludes.

·         Day Trippers—about once a month the group travels by van to a place of special interest. These trips usually take most of the day and include a lunch stop.

·         Red Hatters—this lively group meets once a month at a different restaurant for fellowship, good food and lively conversation. Red hats are not required and smiles are welcome.

·         Care Team—a ministry of the Congregational Care Committee, adults and senior adults provide visitation to members who are place-bound, residing in assisted living facilities or nursing homes, hospitalized or in bereavement through regular personal visits.
